When we are taking information from other sources, we must make sure that we have changed and not entirely copied the entire thing, or else we could be thrown in jail :D

Reflections for lesson 2.
I have learnt what patents and copyright laws are. A patent is a right given to an owner of a product of an idea, enabling him to prevent others from using, copying or making the invention without his consent in the country in which he has obtained patent protection. A trademark or is a distinctive sign or indicator used by an individual, business organization, or other legal entity to identify that the products or services to consumers with which the trademark appears originate from a unique source, and to distinguish its products or services from those of other entities. Copyright is the set of exclusive rights granted to the author or creator of an original work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. These rights can be licensed, transferred and/or assigned. Even so, these "rules" might be broken at times as there are many people who infringe on them.
